Lilly - Oililly of Kirld Ground Castle

Our Tiger at Heart

Titles: JchLux, ChLux, ChBE, ChD (IWC), VetChLux, VetChD (IWC)

Lilly is currently the oldest living « of Kirld Ground Castle » and has just turned nine years old. She is, in every sense, the grand dame of our kennel — a true character and a living part of our history.

From the very beginning, she knew exactly what she wanted. Even as a newborn puppy, her eyes still closed, she would crawl across the whelping box whenever Rani entered the room. It was clear she had chosen her person — and her home.

As the only brindle girl in her litter, we lovingly called her « Tiger Lilly ». However, the year letter was « O ». The final inspiration came from the brand Oilily — one extra « L », and Lilly had her official name.

Character

Lilly moves through her life in her own rythm. When called, she may pause for a thoughtful moment — or several — as if reconsidering wheter she is, in fact, Lilly.

She adores mud, sees molehills as invitations, and considers grooming as a questionable activity. At home, she occasionally plays the « big boss », ensuring everyone knows who is in charge — even if it is mostly charming theatrics.

Dinner is her daily highlight. She proudly announces it to the world and loves food in all forms.

Yet beneath her dramatic moments lies a deeply gentle and affectionate soul. She has the most beautiful smile — standing quietly, tail wagging, radiating kindness. With those she loves, she is soft and devoted. Those she does not particularly favor are simply met with dignified indifference.

Show Career & Titles

Lilly enjoyed a successful show carreer and earned the following titles:

JChLux, ChLux, ChBE, CHD (IWC), VetChLux, VetChD (IWC)

After the long pandemic break, Lilly made it clear that her priorities had changed. Even in the veteran class, she preferred to take the ring at her own pace rather than concern herself too much with competition. She is now enjoying her well-deserved retirement.

More than her titles, Lilly represents heart, humor, and legacy. She is our gentle grandmother — unmistakably herself, and endlessly loved.
